Pretty sure if Caleague came back they would come back with a lot more then just HoN.

Site looks fake and dumb to me, why do they need to know contact numbers/date of births for a tournament?

money, in this one for example a trip to dreamhack 2010 (Sweden) which no teams from North America attended last year (in HoN anyways) so its a huge prize

and the winning team of the CAL tourney gets to compete in dreamhack (15k prize pool) so, why wouldnt they play

Yeah, a trip TO dreamhack alone is a larger individual prize than almost any other tournament to date, at least for North American folks. That's assuming you don't even place at Dreamhack and win even more.

the gosugamers steel series has a 40k+ prize pool, all 64 teams that made it to the main rounds get money
dreamhack is only an 8 team tourney so im assuming all 8 teams will take home a prize

Yep, but if you take the individual prize that could be won by each individual player on the team(s) that get a tripe to DreamHack...it puts it at or very close to the highest individual prize offered. The airfare alone from the EAST coast (read cheapest in the US) is a minimum of about $800 and they're including hotel stay as well. So although the total prize pool is not nearly the largest, the individual prize is probably ERV of $1400-1500, making the single team pay off close to $7,500 AND giving you a chance to participate in a $15,000 prize pool tourney.
