My opinion on HoN isnt good nor bad I think that HoN is more of a competitive game. LoL is more of a fun and enjoyment game. I played Savage 2 and knew some of the classes. From what I have played this week. I havent enjoyed it very much. If anyone would like to change my opinion teach me what I was doinf wrong to show that HoN is better than LoL in the enjoyment field.

the skill curve on HoN is much larger, and steeper
you won't learn the enjoyment of it in a free weekend of play, playing with noobs
it takes a large amount of time investment

hon is decent, same is dota. LOL is gay. Starcraft 1&2 is skilled.

if you played both games you should be able to make up your own mind, tool

a game which abbreviation make up laugh out loud is bound to be fail. i played it 1 night, i went 12-3, 10-3, 7-1. the game is ridiculously easy and takes no skill and is dumb. people will try to pull out the "Free for lol" thing but if you want to play different heros its going to cost money, HoN is a one time fee and is a million times better, people should stop even comparing them. the people that like LoL are the people who are bad at HoN and DotA.

After playing HoN/LoL and Dota

I have came to this conclusion.

HoN has far greater potential than Dota because its not engine limited, and is also taking directly from the dota mold

BUT

HoN is also lacking balance in certain aspects, little things that can be ironed out over time and I am not actually concerned about it. Just not worth paying for yet, IMHO. But playing devils advocate, people need to pay to support to patch/upgrade so..

LoL is more balanced, as it stands today; albeit relatively less competitive/more for fun.

For the record: I play Dota more than I play LoL, I play LoL for entertainment / to play new heroes on the refresh day.
