So I made an account at HoN a few months ago when it was free, but my computer sucked so badly that it wouldnt run the game when I installed it.

Well I just got a new laptop a few days ago and I went ahead and downloaded HoN from the account I made before, and I ran it and played through the tutorial.

Every time I get on, it asks me to upgrade my account for $30, and it says that there are 0 players online and I can't find a public game/create one.

Help?

Is it gonna make me pay that 30 bucks before I can do anything? Cuz I'm not gonna do that..

Why wouldn't you pay the $30? The games retail now, so you're not going to be able to play without buying.

Oh, I was unaware that it was actually released lol...I thought it was still the beta or whatever.

I've gotta be saving my dough right now so I don't have money to be throwing out for video games right now, especially one like this, where I could do virtually the same thing in Dota on WC3.

Dont get me wrong dotas a great game, but HoN is a lot better. $30 is nothing for a game.

$30 isnt a lot of money. Even at a bullshit minimum wage job it doesn't take long to accumulate $30. Especially when 99% of the gaming community either drinks or smokes pot, what's 30$ going to buy you? A bag of weed and a couple 40s? Or you can buy a game that will entertain you for a lot longer then a malt liquor buzz
