First off:

Can you change the password on your hon account? (Probably yes, just need a confident yes)

Second:

Can you change the e-mail the hon account is linked with? (Saying you know the current email, can you change it to another?)

Third:

Pre-Ordered Retail accounts mean that the account has already been fully purchased?

You could change your account name before retail though. After you have to get new accounts each time you want a new name.
