cuz bad game

wc3 engine is so shit but dota is still better overall. in fact lots of heroes in dota work better than their ports in HoN.

probably onnly thing i can play HoN anymore is sousltealer cuz he's like nevermore except his nuke has massive AoE range so its really easy to hit (as long as u dont have to turn like 500 times cuz hon turnrate sucks)

but i'll carry u dota np





soulstealer. in dota his nuke is alot more balanced and requires more skill. in hoN it has like 200 AoE range on it, in dota its like 75 or something. also in dota turnrate is better allowing for alot more bigplays

and venge is better in dota. coded alot smoother, the stun and auto attacks are faster allowing her to be more active rather than just "max -armor and aura and sit around waiting to swap carry out if he's in trouble"

ss ult takes longer to cast + slower turning, think that balances out the larger radius of the hands.


and that is quiet a reach saying andro is better because her auto attacks are faster, when they probably aren't since she was a straight port.

it certainly feels faster, venge has no swingback on the auto attack and like 0.5 sec swingback on the stun. dota just runs smoother for me, maybe its personal preference. but the hero pool is most definitely more exciting / balanced. for example, invoker brings a really interesting concept to the game





i was too when first made the change, but imo its easier to get used to dota from hon than the other way around
