My favorite hero for HoN is probably sand wraith. Sand wraith has the highest win ratio in all games played on HoN, and that is probably because it has the strongest carry in the game (with few exceptions that counter SW).
If ran with a good tri-lane, SW can dominate early game, get enough farm to be safe from ganks (Helm of the Black Legion aka HOTL, Vanguard from DotA) and successfully farm into the late game (approximately 30-40 minutes with good farm) while at the same time, being viable for team fights with an ult that disorientates the opposing teams team-play which also serves as a port to get to battle and rack up more kills and assists for higher gold per minute.
Though I hate playing against SW, because you always seem to get people who don't play aggressive enough and let SW farm and inevitably carry.
That is my outlook on favorite heroes of HoN~

It doesn't necessarily have to be 30 BORING, DRAWN-OUT minutes, but if you have a good team, I think it's fun to get into that ricing mode and have your team support you really well and set up those early ganks in which you come in to assist (aka ks for higher gpm).
In my opinion, SW still has a style of gameplay along with other certain carries I like that requires you not to be noob. "R" doesn't necessarily mean auto win :P. I think figuring out who to target first while your team does the rest is practically the same as Witch Slayer determining the most important person to disable with 2nd skill while remaining alive (or dead if necessary). He's definitely super fun if they dont concede before you get your mock!

Yah i find sw to also be quite boring. Hes spend so much time farming that all you have to do is farm and hit r key to join teamfights for assist/kills. Its pretty much over after mock and sb.

I think you just suggested shieldbreaker on SW right?
Now we have to discuss appropriate carry items on SW.
Not sure if this is the right place to do so... but anyways...

What do you guys think start build for SW (skill wise) and order of item build SW should go for?
I think he should definitely max 1st skill and 3rd skill (which I think is the reflection shield) <--- won't justify quite yet due to it would take a long time for me to explain efficiently and garbo doesn't like that

As for end item build, Vanguard for survivability (order in beginning of treads, vanguard, etc... is all situational)
and a rushed mock for blink canceling and good dps in magic dmg and physical damage in team fights with SW ult.
From that point on, I like to get Icebrand to Firebrand (they combine of course) because it gives good m/s + slow and allows to gank and I get the Icebrand first for HP = more survivability = more damage on other team due to 3rd skill.
Then Split it for Skadi (frostwolf skull or w.e) for more hp and more gank compatability as well as slowing the whole team, and firebrand to geomancer's bane which also allows for more DPS and more importantly survivability and damage in clones also deal more dps with SW's 3rd skill. After that... situational.

I would say most likely all builds I guess are technically situational, but that is the solid build I go by.
Anyone want to explain a more "better" build feel free (:
