i agree, i used to enjoy hon more than dota2 but now is the opposite.

the beta of hon was far superior to dota2 i have to say

they actually did put some effort in to it, no disgustingly retarded imba heroes ( well engi/puppet ) but if you played bp ban = profit

HoN Beta was basically Dota with the exception of a few original heroes (and obviously better graphics / faster play etc.)

i have to say i enjoyed the HoN beta game system, where you made a lobby and it was easy to smurf / stack with friends, and also banlist baddies

but imo Dota2 beta now > HoN, which is kinda sad since S2 has basically gone backwards

yep kinda makes you lose faith in mankind when you see a company manages to screw up this badly

they were getting owned by league of legends, decided to sell out to the FTP buy emo skin bullshit.....

Dota2 is great, but HoN beta I definitely had a lot of fun playing.

s2 has made other games, but none got this famous, maliken didnt know how to direct his team to succeed, simple as that.

now it feels like they release new heroes ever so often and more skins to milk out much money possible, before the games dies
instead of trying to balance out things and fix problems lol

thats the direction they took, and it was a terrible choice

dont know why people keep wanting more hereos

there hasnt been a balance patch in months...

Haha. I love how so many people who play HoN or what not give LoL a bad wrap. In my opinion HoN is shit compared to LoL. I grew up playing Diablo Warcraft and all that shit and I can honestly say that LoL makes HoN its bitch. How can you bash LoL when their matchmaking system seems to work better, HoN graphics are by far obsolete to those of LoL. LoL's mechanics are a lot more involed and spell animation looks a lot better. Not to mention it has somewhere in the 10's of millions of registered users, multiple game awards, averages 500k concurring users at any givin time and is a lot more new player friendly as far as allowing new players to learn how to play. What the hell does HoN have over LoL that you all say is better? I havent heard one legitimate argument yet that shows how HoN has better characteristics. Yeah its a little more hardcore, and edgy like Dota but overall the game is really lacking in a lot of areas. And maybe has 40-50k people online. Not to mention an original designer and administrator from the original Dota helped in the development of Leage of Legends. Yeah theres high levels with little tolerance for newbies, yeah theres some harassment/player griefing but what game doesnt have that? Come on grow up and learn to ignore it. I have never experienced unreliable servers with them. My computer has always run on their servers flawlessly. I cant wait for Dota2 and my PC to be home so I can play LoL instead of this HoN crap. So theres my two cents. Tired of people bashing LoL with no liable statements as to why its better. Because it really isn't, not to mention trying to last hit and being harassed on that game is much worse. I would never recommend it to anyone over Dota or LoL though.
