i hate s2 they're a godawful company but recently i've discoverd valve is actually a shittier company which to me is motherfucking mindblowing

Valve is doing similar things to S2 with in-game purchases now. You have to buy a $35 arcana to participate in certain game modes, have to buy in-game tickets to watch tournaments in-game, advertisements pop up at the start of each game which you can click to quick-purchase the latest Arcana, etc.

This was kinda bound to happen, but it's pretty disgusting having to x out of an advertisement every game because Valve keeps pressuring you to buy the latest Arcana. At least Valve still bother to sponsor big tournaments and try to keep the game balanced and competitive. The minute they add "early access" or having to purchase certain heroes I'll lose all respect.

well they gotta make their money, i understand them although i would never pay for any cosmetics ever
problem is when u can pay to get unfair advantages to those that do not buy anything

i've done my fair share of trolling too tbh, only way to play proper i guess is to 5 man
but then u get tryhard tards who counterpick, ward-cw, tp on ganks/dives etc... i dont wanna play that either

every dota game i play i'm just annoyed by the fact how unresponseive the game is, if only dota could have a game engine and mechanics that were not total shit, then i would be stuck in the moba pithole i was 4 5 years ago, but right now it's just play 0-3 games a day with 4 friends until people go off or i get disgusted by the bad game mechanics

been watching some hs and a tiny bit of dota,

the hs groupstages were just awful since they just casted 1 out of like 4 matches and they 90% picked some boring shit matchups with the "random" players and not the actual good matchups, either better schedule or get 2 "caster teams" so you can follow more matches, and not to mention the viagame website total suckballs, twitch ftw

im losing almost all games because of picks, not all but like 75% or so
holy shit tho all rands hate each other in hon no wonder we cant play
