any1 here playing poker and is good at it?
i'm thinking of starting online but am skeptical

Good sites are PartyPoker and PokerStars. There are lots of other legit ones out there but these are the best imo.

Around 4 years played. I don't put in much volume and only play small stakes but made around $1k from the games and around another $1k from rakeback. Many people I know have made 6 figures or more from poker over the years.

When you first start remember that the luck factor in the short term is insane. You can play perfectly and lose time and time again. If you're on a reputable site, it's not rigged. That's just the nature of the game.

guessing stt is best for start tho i do ok in cash games live

yeah STT is good but i'd suggest you google ICM for poker and learn that a bit. it's pretty crucial nowadays.

also remember online you put in way way more hands per hour than live. i get in 1k/hr online and maybe like 30/hour live if even that. so you're gonna experience alot more bad beats online over a shorter time span than you would live. can be hard to handle at first.

testing out some stuff, could have won 1 of the 3.5 but i noobed an all in cuz i thought guy was bluffing
seems people are kinda average there tho, need to work more on my patience/positioning

broke even for today played like 3 hours
idk what i should do play as i did like 3 tables at same time for low stakes
or play higher and just 1, feels counterproductive this to be honest wasting time
