I'm confuse, what are people considering a smurf now?

Playing on my real account, only 1600 rating, and people call me a smurf because i have 58% win and 1.67 kdr...

Anyone who isnt playing at the bracket where he maintain a 50% win ratio is now a smurf on HoN?

A lot of lower players misuse the term 'smurf'.

Smurfing is when you're a high rated player playing in the lower brackets.
Usually stomping, stat padding to boost accounts w/ high stats and MMR off low rated players.

Someone w/ 65+ % win and 2-3.0+ KDR would generally be considered a 'smurf'.

Depends what you're verse in most games and your play style in general.

I usually go: Ghost Marchers, Energizer, Frostburn/Dawn, Shroud/Genjuro, Savage Mace, Shrunken Head/Nullstone.
A mix of those items depending on what i'm verse.

Skill build is: W/Q/Q/E then Max Q, then 3 into E, then max W.

Thanks, do you think Frostburn is worth it? I just feel like it does pretty much nothing when I buy it.

Boots are preference to the player on any hero but some games it's usually best to go certain boots based off the enemy teams lineup.

If you're verse heavy burst, than it's usually best to go Steams.
But in most pub games i find Ghost Marchers being a lot more useful for the movement speed and damage.

Frostburn is nice to have if you can have it relatively early (by 22-25 minutes).
It gives you life, attack speed, movement speed, slow, some damage.

It gives you a little bit of everything going into mid game which is why it's pretty dominant around that time.

Depending on how well you're farming or getting kills you can finish Dawnbringer which will help even more with your life, attack speed, movement speed, slow, some damage and now a farming mechanism from lightbrand and DoT on enemies.

Most of Flints spells are what shine early/mid game to get you kills on top of the movement slow from each auto from Icebrand and the movement speed / attack speed from Firebrand helping you get more autos in to get you kills from the slow, more mini stun procs because of your attack speed ect.

Helps a lot more than you think when you think of it that way.

Depending on how the game's going you can rush a Savage Mace or Wingbow AFTER your Frostburn if you're looking for damage.
You should be on the OUTSIDE of team fights, in the back, never up front unless you're dominantly winning the game and are manning up w/ control of the game.

If there's a lot of stuns and magic and you don't want to go shrunken head (the pussy item in my eyes in pubs) going Shroud afterwards is usually best to get in and out of team fights and get a little bit more damage.
Especially when you're farming and you're about to get ganked (seeing w/ vision or instincts/reflexes) you can just shroud away safely and keep on farming some place else to keep your GPM up.

Also, this goes for most Ranged Agility Heroes (Not just Flint).
