Wow, this new "press OK to join game" from the queue is horrible. 6 games so far, all of them got to 8 or 9/10 and then pushed me back to queue cuz of someone not paying attention.
The icon doesn't even flash on your toolbar like dota 2's queue notification does. sigh

i do like all carry team though

it makes a pinging noise though.

I cannot believe they got rid of verified only...

2 games in a row got a noob that hadn't played his hero and fucked the team right from the get go.

Think this patch will finally make me quit this stupid game.

Isn't it still there? It's just ranked vs unranked. All they did was lower the requirements for becoming "verified" (ranked). Now you just need level 3 to play in ranked games, which takes like ~20 games I think?



It's a good idea in theory, but a) it's way too fast in HoN (needs like +5 seconds) and it needs to have a more noticeable ping/flashing icon in toolbar

im always tabbed out when i search games and i got sound off and i normally check in to see if game was found periodically and usually within 1 min
it's 15 seconds tho so that's not too bad but the idea is still shit, i failed 5 times now to get in queue, 2 times because of me cause i was tabbed

same as when somebody fialed to join before, you would have to press ok and then queue again, thats 2 extra clicks
what was worse is that u can't press enter on the ok screen u'd have to do it with mouse and the ok icon is ridiculously small


e; yes i am mad now, why do they gotta change something that was perfectly good
i don't get this, leave the fucking game as it is stop making useless changes like interface and shit and stop releasing shitty heroes

They seriously did that?

First it was "hey, pay $30 and we'll give you lifetime access to ALL of the game's contents as well as a map editor and lots of great, balanced patches!"

Then it was "oh you paid $30 you can play the game but you have to pay extra for all these alt avatars, which are supposedly purely cosmetic but really have better attack animations and stuff"

Then it was "well, you paid $30 but we're just gonna let everyone else play the game for free anyway. don't worry though, you'll have a verified account so nothing will really change! also, you'll still be getting things like map editor and better balance!"

Then it was "actually, we aren't going to give you map editor or better balance, we're just going to release a ton of alt avatars you have to pay alot for. Oh, but don't worry, you still get a verified account with a little golden shield next to it and your games won't be ruined by non-verified free-to-play players"

Now it is "well, you paid $30 but you basically get nothing out of it and everyone can play the same games as you and you really have no special privileges. By the way, give us more money for alt avatars or you'll fall behind everyone else that's buying them. K BYE!"

S2 sure sounds like a trustworthy, solid company.

They probably intentionally went with the frog in the boiling water approach as far as the new accounts thing goes. Remember how much everyone cried about the free accounts in the first place? Imagine if they started with how it currently is. People would have lost their shit.
