I would assume you're the one that made all those guides on HoN btw? Kinda well-written and basicly just nice

in a high tier game where one team carry like AM can farm over 50% more gpm than the other carry it's pretty broken
and u cant argue that those guys did not know how or what to do to counter him

The main problem with AM is he needs around 10 minutes of complete free farm to get BF, then needs another 15-20 minutes to get treads manta before he can even consider taking team fights. On top of that, he needs to be at least 4-slotted before really being comfortable taking on enemy carries.

Heroes like Alch or a Prophet with Midas can keep up with his farm, and lots of other heroes like Lifestealer, PA, or Gyro can rape him before he has alot of items. On top of that, he gets owned by Silence early, so if you have a Puck or a Storm with Orchids or something he's in trouble.

He's really strong overall but it's not OP.

maybe the games i specced were one sided but both times AM dominated them
he didn't even join any team fights as u said until late, one time they pushed top rax and still he did not join fight

You have a sample size of like 2 games, that's not really enough to say the hero is OP. But yeah, he generally can't join fights early because he's just too squishy. He also really doesn't do that much damage until you get manta and burn people to 0 mana then ulti them.

well yea its not like i specced some noobs playing tho they were both in international final stages

in hon i'd usually go +3int+2all stats, tango then bottle, then amulet recipe into grave locket
finish treads, maybe get mystic vestments then usually null or mby bkb and rest kinda situational

Depends on the game. Ideally you want to get someone to pool you a tango + salve and get a null tali + 3 branches. You can also do this without pooling if you random.

Then obviously bottle -> boots -> magic wand -> treads. From that point it's really situational. Nobody really goes Linkens first item. It's normally an Orchid if you're farming well, then a BKB, then a sheep. Sometimes you can skip the Orchid if you desperately need fastBKB or if your farm isn't too great. Sometimes you can also skip BKB if their line up isn't that threatening. Sometimes you get Linkens later on against a Batrider or something. But I'd say by far the most common build is Orchid BKB Sheep -> MKB or soem dmg item

Yeah that was fucking ridiculous. Na'Vi players must have been spam clicking it too, so he really needed 100% perfect timing.

Btw, on a side note one nice thing I've noticed about Dota is there's literally NO single hero you can pick to autowin games. Like in HoN if people are getting stomped or losing alot, they'll just say "fuck it I'm picking Deadwood or MK and winning this game". You can't really do that in Dota, everything can get countered pretty well and is pretty balanced. Sure, there are some OP combos you can do like Tiny Wisp or Puck Na'ix but that takes alot of coordination which isn't something your average pubs have.

nah u can counter dw and mk, vs mk i usually pick salforis and it's autowin mid and i think it could work vs dw as well
pred might work too now he's kinda strong and if u tank him up he can easily rape those
