if u r new to game i guess those do help but don't get why they forced people who already played some games to do them

so s2 is making a new moba, "strife"
wat

what's the point of this move? i don't think they'll legally be able to implement dota-to-hon heroes even if they're still in hon
so all shitty s2 heroes
interdasting

Without Dota heroes or any Dota infrastructure, the game will be utter shit.

HoN early beta was one of the best games I've played. Why? It was almost all Dota heroes with a few decent additions.

HoN now is the biggest piece of shit ever. Why? They got sued into the ground by Valve and couldn't touch any of Dota's ideas anymore.

it kind of looks like this new game panders to casual people

the thing is that this game already exists, and it's called league of legends.. they're never going to take that playerbase from LoL

Probably not. I think S2's biggest downfall is they aren't willing to make big investments to better their product / playerbase. I understand they are a small company, but come on, how much have they invested into the community / advertising over the past few years? My guess would be less than 6 figures, which is just ridiculous. Both Valve and Riot spend MILLIONS every year for prize pools, good casters, production value for streams, publicity, advertising, etc. I think S2 do have a few good ideas and HoN was clearly a pretty well coded game with it's netcode and all, but without them putting alot of time, money, and effort into their products they just won't be able to compete.

when the biggest selling point for tournies (besides the matches themselves) is the antics of breakycpkyou know you have some issues in marketing
It sucks that icefrog/s2 couldn't have teamed up to make dota on the HoN engine, but even with icefrog s2 probably would have fucked the game

why is monkey king still in this game
matchups like SS vs MK are so funny; the MK can make 10 mistakes and still be doing well. SS makes one slight misstep and MK has the lane advantage for the rest of the game, lol
