aint that big if u consider that these are for a whole season, for every tournament, for all places and spread among 5 players.
they just make it sound big.

Compared to most competitive games, it actually is a big deal. >.>

I think black ops and the like usually only have an annual prize pool of around 1 mil, mobas usually less.

I hope that more tournaments start increasing their prize pools, and that the esports scene becomes almost as popular/profitable as regular sports.

That's just wishful thinking, though.

anyway, starcraft is the only game worth to play if u want to earn money.

usually sponsors paying the prize pool. for lol its mainly riot.

not to mention your teams sponsor will take a cut aswell as your teams manager ( if you got 1 )

it's bigger and better than anything hon has done, and ever will do

and still its not that big
