1. selling online is beneficial to the players because we can buy it at a reduced cost, and S2 makes the same amount of profit of $30 + tax as they would if they would have spent money on producing the game for retail, where it would become one of those $59.99 games, and in an interview someone posted here they even said that themselves, that anybody who knew about hon would have purchased it online, as the main appeal of retail is to hope to be one of those games a 9 year old scrawn walks by and picks up and buys because it looks cool, and with it being a pc-exclusive game and not something like a wii game, it only made sense and anybody who disagrees is more retarded than S2
2. angry birds for the iOS is very successful with its 8 million or something sales, but it's a $0.99 app that people buy on their iphones and ipads, super meat boy won't be in retail, etc, etc, etc, and i hope dota 2 isn't available for retail in stores or i'll be paying twice what i would have to
