it'd be faster just to calculate the DPS straight up, i mean it would take minutes to calculate the DPS of a build

maybe a general DPS calculator would make more sense
could probably write it to consider viable items for specific heroes and get a straight up DPS calculator
still doesn't mean best build though

anybody remember in dota when item pooling was possible? i remember coL used to put a clinkz mid and have him a doombringer and aegis of life as his first items after treads and they'd push and win the game

makes me want to get doombringer on every ranged carry

how i missed clinkz and skadi after treads

skadi after treads? y u waste +40 per shot tho?
i always went glass cannon and would strafe out of windwalk behind a tree or something hard to see
by the time most people reacted it was gg and if they did anything death pact was one of the most OP skills ever created
probably my favorite carry hero :(

you made hellflower first item lol

gave everything you need

ias
mana pool and insane mana regen which basically turns into surviveability with your ultimate so you could spam it like every cd
and ofc it gave some damage

not to mention it gives you pretty much same fearfactor as a na with codex

What Lane:
Middle lane or Solo lane.

For Boots:
If i'm playing more so a carry route on her i'll get Steam Boots If a Semi-Carry route i'll get Ghost Marchers.

For Items:
If mid/solo lane first item of choice should be ofc Bottle.
If the enemy team has a lot of single targeted spells [EX: Pyro, Arachna, Devour, Swift ect] i'll rush a Nullstone Then Frostburn.
Some teams you could skip the Nullstone and get a Shrunken Head instead later on after a basic item like Frostburn.
Then as the game progresses you can split the Frostburn into a Geometers Bane and Frostwolf Skull.
Thunderclaw/Charged Hammer if you don't want to split the Frostburn but i'd only suggest this item if they have no tanks or Barriel Idol and such cause then it'd just be pointless to have imo.
Savage Mace is also another great item to go for after the Frostburn for it's true strike ability and damage.
As final items after the above items i'd go w/ Riftshards and/or Wingbow.

For the Skill Build:
Lvl 1-6:
3/2/1/1/1/2  | Finish maxing 1, then 2, then point ulti, then max 3.

This should've given you a quick/easy over-view of what to get and max.

If i missed anything or anyone wants to contribute more feel free.
I just did this quickly off of thought and of what i normally do.

this is not a good build for items lol

I build codex lvl 5 and spellshards on all my heroes
And breaking 1850 with this build is not a problem
It's true, for real!

E: Ok actually since valkyrie must never forest(her skills are too valuable on the battlefield), valk should never forest. So no lifesteal.
Nullstone is really situational, allthough not a bad choice. FIREBRAND is a serious must before any other item, for the AS and MS.
And then you can improvise.. Firebrand into frostwolf/geo, charged hammer, savage mace, whatever.
P.S Shrunken is kinda situational, depending on the level of enemy skill and the amount of AOE annoyances(so yeah, when enemies can actually pick good heroes, it's a must).
The thing about valkyrie is you need to be in a good spot to keep the autoattack up. If you can't do that, then no matter what items you got, you're useless. Also, if you can't gank in midgame, don't play valk. You'll just stay behind with farm and be useless for 30 minutes.
