either they fake, or enemy friends, that lose on purpose.
thats the type of attitude that will keep u from advancing in hon. there is always a good chance that u'll get retarded teammates, but u gotta remember the enemy isn't goin 2 be very good either. in general the average team psr should be fairly even, meaning that ur team mite still be slightly worse than the enemy team if ur pink/blue, but its not like ur team is gonna be all brand new players and the enemy team is gonna all be professionals
just cuz ur team is playing bad doesn't mean u should give up and go into troll mode and start flaming them. instead, tell them what to do, what to buy, where to go and most importantly play as good as u possibly can. if ur team is failing , that doesn't mean u should fail too. it means u should play even better to make up for them.
i've been playing back up from 1500s recently and i've seen kids with <1500 mmr with <50% win rate and terrible kd ratio with all carries / solo's top played, and they still blame their team for their stats. with that type of attitude u'll never improve cuz ur never taking responsibility for ur own play. if u can't carry yourself out of a certain bracket up to the 1850s at least you are doing something wrong, regardless of your team. after 1850 it gets difficult because competent teammates are pretty much necessary, but up until then you should be able to solo pub it quite easily if you are a good player who is always willing to learn.

had a team that refused to buy any support items besides a courier. our ricer bot lane randomly quit leaving us with no farmed carry. flint/phar lost hard to FA/NH lane, giving nh good farm and allowing him to start ganking early. i was basically left as the only competent player on the team, and i had to do everything. i got pretty frustrated sometimes and almost conceded, but in the end i ended up convincing the team to ward/ get dust, and we ended up killing their nh several times. i then ended up getting p3 and daemonic, making nh pretty worthless and ended up winning us the game 4v5. my teammates played like complete 1200 mmr players. ds refused to buy a single ward up until i proved to him at 30 minutes or so that i knew what i was talking about. he said just getting courier was enough and rushed astro instead. phar missed like half his hooks and kept getting caught out of position. flint farmed absolutely nothing, bought a fucking hatchet, and ended up getting only 30 min shroud, constantly getting picked off. most players would have blamed their team, ragequit/ afk'd and gone into a new game and probably done the same thing if 1 thing didn't go their way. i stayed through the game and thought of ways to win because i knew i was better than the enemy team and that i could beat them if i tried. if u do the same thing, you'll no doubt be able to solo stomp to 1800 quite easily.
