The closed beta, and the open beta for about ~1-2 months?

They have very little feedback from new players coming into the game with first impressions, the wave of players came at random; they've been getting the best feedback they've ever gotten over the past month or so.

The matchmaking system is also flawed which is why I oppose the release this early, fix the matchmaking at least first then release it IMO.

i made well over $200 playing dota last year (yeah i know it's shit compared to a pro dota player, but winning a tournament for computer parts and computer store certificates is fucking awesome), which was something like $1400 combined with my team, except it was unevenly distributed due to non-cash prize

anyways, obviously i'm buying it since i'm so into it competitively

you're probably one of those kids who don't have people to play with, and have to play with pubs every game
considering how it's going to be continually patched and (hopefully) improved, is a competitive game, is online and therefore allows infinite re-playability, and has no retail middle man raping the price, it's well worth it
