Few things just off the top of my head: Careful with Asrock, known issue with their boards being particularly thin and fragile (not the best thing in a mobo). Why such a disc drive? Do you even use your disc drive any more? (just wondering)
If you're a competitive gamer (anything that needs a stable connection) I wouldn't recommend going with a wireless adaptor... even the higher end ones have issues coming even close to the dependability of wired. Wireless adaptors for desktop are practical for the casual web surfer, not really for bandwidth eating gaming.
Not trying to sound harsh in any way, pretty decent picks imo actually... Just a few things to consider about your selections.
Yeah I was tossing up between asrock and asus, but ASRock has way better features for the price.
I've also been offered a similar ASRock board w/ an i7-3930k for $500 (2nd hand, but still 2 years warranty), so I think I'll take that.
I live in a sharehouse with shitty access to ethernet ports so there's not really any other option for me. I have a good modem/router though and it's just outside my room.
