why would you do such a thing.
Elaborating on garbo's post:
You are wasting your time. Spiritual enlightenment cannot be achieved through video games. It can only be achieved internally. Many people play video games as they are entertaining, and while they are playing they are either thinking only about the game, or about nothing at all. This allows for a state of mind temporarily free of every-day problems, past mistakes, and perceptions of the future. If one were able to sustain this state of mind in every day life when performing other less attention-consuming activities such as walking, listening to someone, or even attempting to go to sleep, one would constantly feel enlightened and joyful, being free from the constant nagging and burden of their racing minds. Instead, most people are unable to achieve mental control and consequently spiritual enlightenment, and as such turn to video games to temporarily numb their minds and put them at ease.
The problem with this approach is it is merely a short-term fix that dissipates as soon as one closes one's favorite game. Hence, the true path to enlightenment is not through games or other mind-numbing activities, but rather through internal scrutiny, discovery, and enlightenment.
