a laptop is probably the single most useful item you can have when you study

also sager laptops are decent if u have the money, but like i said i never recommend gaming laptops but if you want one to be able to play games on, they are decent

and for that money u can get a very gg pc

also when i did go to college i didn't have a laptop
its overrated as well and not all allow u to use one
and when u have activities that require a pc they provide em for workgroups usually 3ppl on 1 pc was my case

Gaming laptops are fine if you don't have the space for a desktop.

Buying a low/mid range laptop and custom building your own PC is a better value.

Laptops for college aren't that great. You have to have really strong discipline to use them solely for school work. Plus phones are good enough now to use them for most academic related things.

Goodluck studying computer science without a personal laptop. I can't be bothered with a Desktop, syncing files is annoying as hell and if I had a Desktop I would still need a laptop for school, so the only difference is I would game/do recreational shit on one system, and use the other for work.

I'd rather have everything in one place. I can't really be bothered with a shit laptop because I need alot of memory and a decent graphics card for virtualization. Yes, for the same price I could probably get a shitty laptop and a desktop with decent specs, but I'd much rather just have one very good laptop which I can use for everything. Also, I don't see why I would actually need a desktop more powerful than this. This'll be able to run any game I can dream of on ultra for the next few years at least.

Also rick, glossy or matte screen finish? Which is better?
