Anyone got any advice on this:

My PC laptops internet is dropping out every like 5-10 minutes, and I get it back when I disconnect and reconnect to the internet again. Even when my internet is down it says I am connected with full 5 bars. I don't have the problem on my macbook which is a 30 cm away from me. Any ideas? Never been like this before.
