the reason they have that is to prevent games starting with afk people

in hon people afk during picks, especially true when BP/BD gets selected

I think S2 could have solved the dying comp scene problem with an easy fix, obviously they shouldn't have hired phil, but they should have had a tournament between Dreamhack winter and the HoN Tour.

Once they realized HoN Tour wasn't ready in January they should have started a 10k-20k tourney. It'd take a month to hype and play all the qualifier games, then another month to play the seeded games. That's a 2 month window to work on hontour and not have the comp scene pissed.

Instead of having a tourney to fill that huge gap they did nothing. Instead of the comp scene getting the attention, all the shitty cosmetics took center stage. Couple that with Dogkaiser's lack of balance changes and you get a shit storm of vocal players.

I think Phil says his only job was to do the HoN Tour during these months. But if he was smart/savvy at all he would have done something to fill this tournament gap. He had no balls and just let maliken force him to fuck over the comp scene.

that is why they should just make people who go afk in queue not be able to rejoin matchmaking for 30-60 minutes, that will teach the faggots

Wouldn't that have cut down the PR shit storm if they held some 10k tourney in February? That doesn't make any sense to have 4 months go by without a decent tourney.
