There has been so little decent analysis into what makes people like and dislike playing this game that it's little wonder the game is slowly dying but for the influx of tards who cared too little to even pay the $30 fee to play HoN for most of its life.

The reason anyone who matters for half a **** is bailing off this ship is because no analysis is being done into what is frustrating to play against. If you weigh up how much fun it is to do something vs. how much fun it is to have it done to you, you suddenly find that HoN is filled with balls unfun crap everywhere on the weight of things.

S2: (this is the big one) Introduce seperated in-house leagues. This is more important than any in game design or balance issues, and people have been calling it since closed beta. As long as you fail to do this, your mid-high level players will continue to form a cesspool of copy-catting heroworship and you'll continue to foster an environment that fails to reward creativity, originality and personality in play (these are all really bad things that have made your comp scene a joke for near to ever).
