Do you not understand that the -5 armor from bulwark works with your illusion? When you get bulwark at ~15 minutes you can kill people with 2 mirage strikes or kill them with 1 mirage strike and 1 auto attack.

The + damage from shield breaker does not work on your illusion. The -armor from shield breaker only works if you auto attack first. People don't let you walk up to them and auto attack.

Bulwark lets you take down towers for easy gold and you get it 2 minutes faster than shield breaker.

he's not fun to play against

though i hear LoL doesn't make heroes that you hate to play against

HoN has plenty. Parasite, Nomad, Monarch, Fayde, Silh.
