clearly a team that works well > a solo queue carry player

however, in a 15-1700 bracket, a solo queue carry player considering the level of bracket (15-1700), will ease through no

i guess it takes a matter of queueing with 3 people, or being an exerpeinced player to get out of those brackets.

I've legitimately been to 1700 a few times solo queue

I'm now 1520 and I'm constantly going back and forth from 1550 to 1500

People say you can't support every game because there's too many players you can't trust to get the job done

But lots of times I will want to mid to beat the opponents best player and make impact on the game with runes and ganks... however many bad players will INSIST that they are mid and there is absolutely no talking them out of it

Okay so then logically I should carry for my next most impactful role of the team. Problem is there are also MANY games where I will get stuck in the long lane with a melee hatchet carry and I'm a ranged carry or I'm a melee carry and they pick another melee carry

So what do I do? Just try to keep playing mid and carry?

If you feel confident enough in solo lanes.
Taking middle is usually your best bet to win 90% of your games 1500-1750.
Picking dominant heros that have Semi-Carry/Gank Potential are your key to winning the game by 25 minutes (Hopefully!).
Hero's like: MK/Pebbles/Hag/Deadwood/Bubbles/Dampeer/Fayde/Magmus ect ect.

If you can't get middle, hero's that have Gank/Initiation-Potential are great to pickup that can win you the game rather early just by grouping and initiating.
Hero's like: Magmus/Pestilence/Moraxus/Lodestone/Pebbles ect ect (Rush Steams / PK) And start ganking for your team / pub training.

Gain your teams trust and command them to do whatever you please. (ward, stack, push)

there are many games where I will be mid, but I will have for example a melee agility carry, a strength initiator, a ranged semi-carry, and a ranged int semi-carry

and ALL of them absolutely REFUSE to buy wards, reveal, or courier upgrades/new couriers when they get them killed after I upgrade it myself

^^^ this situation is ESPECIALLY annoying when you're playing against a team that focuses on ganking you whenever possible to keep you down, or has multiple invis heros that they split to pick off people on my team who are constantly farming or farm during critical situations, and you have to ward yourself walking around the map not farming, and you absolutely HAVE to depend on other people farming efficiently and being at the right spots but never show up when needed

I also have the issue of getting players who absolutely REFUSE to be with the team regardless of how advantageous it obviously would be, or how necessary it is to defend a tower or rax

no matter how much I ask nicely, no matter how well I play mid, no matter how much I try with every bone in my body to win there are games where it is so unbelievably frustrating that I just cannot do it and I want to literally fall on my knees and cry because I just want to play with normal people who cooperate so badly

You look at this wrong, you dont have to be a police officer, you have to be a babysitter.
Get people to laugh at start of the game and create a nice atmosphere, this helps so much for getting people to do this for you.

Get the angry nerds together as a team and you win.

If you're a good player, buying a few wards here/there is not really that difficult when you're raping the game.
You're winning middle, got a gank off or two (carrying tp's at 6, counter ganking sidelanes or setting up ganks) you should be ahead.
You can buy a ward or two and ward mid hill and ward a rune and play smart and take control.

What's 100-200g when you're 5/0+ in mid on a snowball hero?

1500-1700 you usually find yourself supporting yourself to win games, playing by yourself ect and winning by yourself.
Around 1750+ is where you usually start relying a bit on your team to win some games although it's still mainly yourself still.

I solo que 1500-1800 with ease (under 100-150 games).

What BloopX said.

Just buy your own wards if you are in a comfortable lead. I upgrade courier myself in probably half the games I'm boosting.

Lots of games you will pick a mid hero that gets countered

Last game I played Aluna vs Arachna. You can sit there and try to tell me that I should beat Arachna but I personally think Arachna has a natural advantage especially when he is queueing with a hard support who buys him a flying courier for faster heals, guards the top rune while he gets the bottom rune, and wards for him. I'm stuck mid trying to scramble for my own wards, trying to get a rune but being completely boxed out forcing myself to get tangos and pots, and all the while I'm getting harassed by a 2nd player with no help

Agree completely with this. I think more 1800+ people play together in the 1500-1600 more than anything. To be completely honost it gets tiring to have to try so fuckin hard to win EACH game when just 1 good teamate would make winning a breeze. I love it when someone rage quits before feeding cause its easier. Normally they feed 5x before dcing then its just like wtf.
