sitting just above "average" stack, but average is actually more like top 25% of the tournament since some kids alrdy have 100k stacks

when i've hit this tournament i've hit big, have a good feeling about it.

back from break, first hand i get is A2

some guy limps from button, i check. ace on flop, i feel like i'm good. he keeps bluffing all the way i just call down. he ends up having king high and i'm up to 30k now

e: 97 players left, lots of people going out left and right. i think i can cash in this relatively safely.

same guy whose bluff i called just min raised preflop with AKs. i hit a set of 5s on the flop, i just check it behind him.

i allow him to hit the K on the turn, and he's basically drawing dead. i bet small, he raises small, i reraise quite large, he shoves his entire stack, i snap call



up to 70k chips.

$800 prize here i come

i'm the 9th biggest stack in the tournament now. going to play really tight until i make the money since there's no way i'm walking out of this tournament with nothing. then going to start playing some serious deep stack poker, doing a few more bluffs / check raises and trying to outplay opponents.

still going to play really tight throughout though. no need to get reckless with such a big stack

better to try than play safe all the time like dude150 and miss opportunities like getting chance to play drums in a band and instead focusing on games and school................
