Venom wards are awesomely convenient for early game survivability/harass. Nuke does decent damage, and his ult is awesome against lower health enemies early game. But I have yet to see him do well mid to late game though... Anyone know effective item build that keeps his ganking ability high?

Edit: Also it seems his use is only nullifying health regen if he can even go that far as the game progresses

if not gank/farm

i like to build him has a tank

hobl
shamans (if enemy team is high burst damage)
frostwolf
steam boots
portstone

Bubs, pyro, witch slayer, Night hound, Voodoo jester, succubus are the top side laneish heros that can be great early game solo gankers.

Although if you really want to have a larger impact as a solo ganker mid is the place to be, and these heros dominate it fairly well. Nh less so but the others for sure.
