high apm doesn't = skill, but there is a required base to not be fucking bad. Games like starcraft apm is considered very important, where professional players will generally have around 300apm, this game is only a 1 unit game so obviously 300 apm is a bit outrageous.

If you have 40-80 apm, which in this game I have about 90 apm although in starcraft I'll run around 250, you are the type of player who idles in the middle of a lane while buying items on a courier, you're the type of player who doesn't have one eye on the minimap and one on your hero, etc

even early game just spamming H for denies/CKs will give you around 100 apm, apm if someone didn't already say it stands for actions per minute. That's clicks and commands basically. It's very easy for someone to spam click around all game and achieve high apm, which is why it's very often misleading in this game, but what I think everyone is trying to say it that if your apm is below a certain level that just means you're retarded.

APM is not a measure of skill, there are a lot of horrible fucking 1300 players with 175 apm, that doesn't mean they're on a losing streak they're probably just bad. But they are able to spam commands and clicks all game. People do it in starcraft as well, they will select groups of uits on hotkeys and go 1 2 3 1 2 3 1 2 3 1 2 3 while they're not doing other things. In starcraft there are programs where you can pik apart replays to see exactly what commands people are using throughout the game to see if their apm is legit. In starcraft most pro gamers are around 300 psr, while there are a select few in the 100-200 range. A typical public SC player will have around 80 apm.

I'm not gay, i'm bicurious.

since testie was brought up...i thought id include my opinion of him, i dont think hes very great at all. im not saying im good or anything at all but ive played against him a few times. he basically farms mid and never leaves mid until like the 25 min mark. even if he gets ganked, he wont leave the lane and go back to farming mid or either going to the jungle for a little bit and then going to mid. me and a few friends decided to just gank him an entire game since it was decided that our game was lost already from the pub players on our team and try to make his kd drop. i guess hes good at what he does but i really dont like how he plays.

it's just a different playstyle
his is to farm, achieve an incredibly high GPM, and then use the economic advantage to win the game
