I love LoL

Never played dota or HoN

I can't beleive these fucking noobs are trying to defend LoL as if it takes an ounce of fucking skill. It's funny how hon players who have never touched LoL can play their first game and absolutely dominate it knowing nothing about any of the heros, yet a top LoL player can't come to hon and break 1600 psr.....

There is a reason there are 3 million people playing LoL:

1) It's free
2) It's full of fucking 11 year olds who play with their 11 year old faggot friends
3) It's free
4) 11 year olds don't have money to spend on computer games
5) The heros all look like cuddley little pokemon/disney heros clearly targetting a fucking teenie bopper crowd
6) The original creators of dota have come out with a boatload of CRAP aside from maybe dota? LoL is one of those projects.
7) It's free
8) It's nice to play a game where 20 apm is gosu

LoL is not set up to be competitive, and if it was the people who made it have never played competitive games. Not only is the game fucking easy as balls and not scaled well AT ALL. In Hon you have psr to basically match you with your caliber of the playerbase and to give people an idea of your skill level. Each account is also tied to specific stats that are averaged from every game you have ever played. In LoL you can lose every fucking game you ever played and still get to level 30.

Anyone who thinks LoL is a better game then Hon you are a fucking moronic cumguzzling piece of shit. There isn't a single reason why LoL is better then hon. The heros are boring, the graphics are horrific, the game is so fucking basic and bland that I can barely stomach it for an entire game. When was the last time there was a $40,000 LoL tournament with countless sponsors? Hon is what? not even 2 months old now? And already the competitive scene > LoL?

Typical dumbfuck 11 year olds in denial about their hello kitty island adventure game. Game is full of a bunch of bubbly emo heros, and wtf is skins? So you can customize your little barbie doll hero in game so people in game are like "omg where u get that outfit yo"

LoL is a bad game, all of the good reviews were either from garbage sites or people affiliated with it. The same fucking reason there isn't an LoL forum on jsp and you had to post this here, nobody gives a flying fuck about your emo 11 year old cupcake game

psr isnt everything
a person can have 1600 psr with less than 1.0 kdr because his team carries him
psr means nothing at all

but i found it so boring it was mainly dota all over again
played a while in the beta between LOL and HON and LOL was 100x more fun and rewarding

if ur little graphics QQings mattered than WoW Wc3 Starcraft2 etc etc etc all suck too right?
i play LOL for the gameplay not the graphics
the gameplay at higher elo and the ability to customize ur runes and masteries make the heros infinitly more diverse
$$ tournaments yay. wait till the ranking system goes into place in LOL you wont be able to QQ about that much more

Why are you still comparing a free game to a paid one..? Everyone can create an account just to try out the game, like i did and i never returned to LoL, simply because i hate the graphics.

I presume that more people like me made the same, creating an account, use it for like 1 hour, and then never return. So most of the numbers you say that LoL have, it's ghost accounts like these.

well, it WAS intended to be a dota clone
it was meant to be as close to DotA as possible, because they wanted to take over the DotA competitive scene with it, while improving graphics, game mechanics, etc, etc
i mean, to each his own, but if you're going to argue about competitive play, HoN has already had countless five figure tournaments (alienware, MyM, neva, dreamhack, etc), along with its shit tons of other smaller tournaments

i will be honest, though, i have not tried LoL, but i have watched my cousin play three games of it one time, and i disliked what i saw, which was mainly the bright color schemes and anime-like theme along with what i believe were the summoner abilities like heal, recall, etc

guys...its a waste of time and effort of trying to explain it to them or making them understand. if they want to believe that LoL requires skill, is more enjoyable, and etc then let them believe that. we, ourselves, know that LoL is a shit game and won't play it and that is all there is to it.

and Da5id1an let me explain to you why no professional players and teams will be playing in any LoL leagues and thus making it so that LoL leagues will never be as successful.
1. levels/runes/summoner abilities/heroes do not bold well with tournament level of play meaning that players start off with different and unfair advantages. its meant for casual play and for some people, it makes it more satisfying to play the game to earn points and buy those things. You can argue that it brings more diversity or whatever, but whatever argument you point is just not valid.
2. All of the aspects(warding/counterwarding, creep stacking, denying, etc) of dota/hon that LoL doesnt have. This is the major cause that makes the game challenging and require skill.
3. You lose gold after dying in HoN, which LoL doesn't. This makes first blood even more important.
these are the main reasons I can think of atm. professional players want to play games that require HIGH levels of skill and complexity. That's something LoL just simply does NOT have.

you guys seem to not understand that HoN was MEANT to be an improved dota replica. if you dont understand that, then you are just retarded.

and why do you guys think that k/d ratios matter for high psrs? it doesn't. people who play mainly support(like me because i think they are more essential to the game than carries) understand that they have to support the carries in order to win late game. this usually means that youre underfarmed from letting the carry getting last hits, buying wards, and dying in order to save your carry from dying whenever possible. and most if not all players in LoL are the opposite to this.
