You were saying? Kid played his hand in such a way that made his bluff so completely pointless. Son, there's no way you would just call a raise preflop with any large hands (except maybe aces). Also with what hands would you just call that dry flop with? Only thing possible is a straight draw + maybe small pair. Same thing on turn, no way he hit the 10. Why just call when there's now a flush draw + straight possibility out there? River completes flush, and he bets. Given the way he played flop / turn very unlikely he has a flush. Also very unlikely any large pair, set. Possible 2 pair, 2 high cards, or busted straight draw / pair. Either way very high chance just my shitty pair of 9s is good because I can't see many hands that guy would have played that way which beat me.

So I call with pair of 9s with shit kicker on pretty scary board. Kid shows 73 LOLOLOLOLOL. Nice try son, if you're going to bluff at least make it credible, don't play the flop / turn like you have absolutely nothing and then do a desperate bluff on the river.

Ty free money

yes pretty true for lower stakes online

but that definitely doesn't work heads up. you'll get blinded out so fast since premium hands are like <5% of all hands possible.

that's why i played back at that guy. if you just let kids steal every pot from you were you don't have like TPTK or 2 pair + you're basically throwing away money heads up

as for normal ring games, in 10max tight is pretty good. in 6max is kind of nice to play loose aggressive and just see lots of flops since the blinds occur alot more often and most kids there are playing super tight for some reason.

if you mean jsp kids then yeah they're like 99% awful. as for program doing all the work, what are you referring to? pokertracker and hold'em manager are all i've heard of, and all they do is give you stats which you in theory could track by yourself. plus they aren't that useful if you have no idea what you're doing since a bunch of numbers on your screen doesn't do shit for you if you don't know how to use them to your advantage.

nah heads up hitting any kind of pair is good so obv u gon call no matter what in that situation
also play nuts and establish a tight image then make a bluff and show it to mix things up

still most poker players grind it out at start at least till they make a decent bankroll
then ofc u can change ur playstyle and be more aggressive (cash wise ofc, tournaments u gotta play safer imo at least till u get closer to final stages)
