maybe slither but he cant provide the same kinda burst/globalness/disable as ws/pyro/tb, but theres not many players that first of all know how to play tb properly and second of all not many know how to build a team around tb ( i know for fact i dont )

Yeah tbh people need to break away from dumb cookie-cutter strategies. A properly played ophelia / tempest / lich and/or a roaming vs / ES can be far more effective than the standard boring "we trilane flint beastwood solo bubbles top soulstealer mid guys". If I had the time and a solid team of 5 I would love to show the HoN world some of less conventional but very effective strategies I have in mind, but sadly I don't think I'll get to do that with university and real-life stuff coming up

yeah i speak strictly from experience so dunno about properly built tb teams
i dunno, i never seem to have a problem as witch vs anything other than devourer (might stop autobanning now that hook is nerfed and i can just dodge incoming) and a flint can be a problem with lucky hollowpoints or a decent chipper
like you said witch/pyro pretty strong vs all matchups, imo easy rape on dw/elec since you can kill once they close in on you, but tb will do ~500 and then be a sitting duck for a few seconds
i find many melees > tb like damp, or pebbles if tb is greedy and gets chalice/bottle and pebbles gets boots

agreed, people need to stop being a bunch of pussies " we cant do anything other than what we seen trixi do on honcast"



if you're playing witch vs devo mid it's actually a hell of a good investment to either buy 1 ward for hill or skill 1-2 in mana drain, remember wheni played in druidz we were playing vs some guys and darkwonyx was playing vs a quite decent ws with 1-2 manadrain and wonyx couldnt rly do shit, that was 1 of the few times he actually asked for a gank mid, since he usually always dominated mid it was kinda strange to see him ask for a gank ^^

well yeah tb is kinda weak as a laning phase hero but not many people use him to full potencial during laning phase

i've done lots of non-traditional shit with my hon team in mid 1800s to low 1900s pubs like me stomping mid with nh, teammate taking over game with ophelia, or me witch mid (not so untraditional but dumb fucks say witch shouldn't have anything but striders 3 bracers and wards while i say witch should have 7 min steamboots 11-15(max) min port key, 20-22 min hellflower/sheep carry hero)
and i mean like heavy faceroll stomps with unorthodox lineups and roles that we worked on pretty hardcore to a good working consistency
unfortunately 2/5 of us in school so no time to play together
ofc just rolling kids in pubs but with such high effectiveness shouldn't be hard for a good organized team who plays hon for a living to be able to work new shit instead of boring ass every game same fucking shit

Looking back I wish I had spent less time getting resets and stomping and more time thinking of cool new strategies and forming an open-minded team. Too late to get into that now though, so will just smurf moar and probably quit soon -.-

me on ophelia and the only thing i did was shut down their mid allowing fntastic to have total control of runes/mid lane, and at 8-12 min mark we grouped up to push all t1 tower>taking kongor and well take a wild guess what a mq at 15 min mark with

token
0-3 tower kills
0-3 kills
1 kongor kill
60+ ck

would mean in the long run

yeah i've actually started warding mid almost every game now when i'm queued as 5 since kids will hop on enemy mid's dick and have 3 mid ganking from fog
i just have a fear vs dev mid as any hero, dunno who i would confidently vs him with





pretty GG, i like when people do the 2v1 mid camp, very easy to actually win the game if you can have a non bitch soloing the long lane and someone mid capable of carrying much of the game
i do it when queuing as 2 unless i'm actually fully trashing the other mid that i'm able to solo kill whenever and have full rune control and keep lanes in check all by myself

pebbles can plow a devo
valk can rape a devo if you dont panic while you get hooked and leap so you get nowhere
doctor repulsor, devo wont even be able to get a ck, his only chance is to have a nerdluck hook from 1099 distance away and get you hooked into tower
dw can do a quite decent job vs devo
ss if played properly and gets a ward from teammate at min 0 for laneward will demolish a devo

DR short range DPS is insane, never started playing any of your listed heroes since last month and haven't played vs a devo mid for like 4
