So I beat a guy 150 mmr ahead of me yesterday mid and I'm not sure if I should have.

He was ss ofc trying hard vs me as polly. I killed him twice in lane which really put him back I think because once we both hit 5-6 we would just nuke down waves in 2 hits then go to farm our easy camps.

I killed him once around the two min mark with a jolt frog jolt combo that surprised me it even worked and then again once I was 6 ofc.

He still had a really quick pk and bkb but I'm guessing thats just cuz ss can do that with his retarded mid game farm.

Do you guys think polly should be able to beat a ss that bad 1v1 or was he just having a bad game?

polly is a strong mid, and can easily beat ss by killing (especially if you kill him everytime your wards are up), but not straight out farming

I wouldn't call either a clear cut of x wins mid, but polly is probably easier to get the earlier kills with especially if the SS plays too aggressively/dumb. The same can happen to polly if he plays that way too, though.
and yeah, one of the best aspects of ss is the ability to nuke the wave and go stack camps / raze it at 2/3 stacks for a big gpm boost

Ya well I took a pretty early tower and I'm not sure if I should have or not. The 2nt time my wards were up I went for the push and got it but idk if I should have left it to get some more kills out of it. He definitely out farmed me on creeps anyways and that might be why.

Like do you guys think I should leave a tower so that he doesn't get that safer farm when the lane pushes up? Or is that just overthinking it..
