midas is like a shitty version of pyro

the only things he has over pyro is
his combo is a shorter cooldown (when you factor in pyro's ult)
has more starting hp and strength gain, so he's less squishy
has a 4 second AOE stun if you can land your spells right, compared to pyro's 1.6 second stun
he can heal for 210 (when his lion skill is maxed)
his attack animation and range are fucking brutal, so he's pretty weak sidelane and mid, he doesn't get a stun till level 6
pebbles, SS or pyro are better than him, though maybe you could pick him to lane against bubbles
mag, behe, tort are better secondary supports as they can be really good with items, unlike midas who caps out with spellshards and frostburn/wolf, which isn't that good compared to mag/behe with blink
i guess you could put him as primary support, but he won't hit level 6 for a while, is he better than a glacius/andro/rhapsody/myrm at those levels? probably not
the delay in casting his spells and having his spells land is so fucking annoying when you compare him to other heroes, the blink delay is fucking insane, i guess that means you're probably going to want to get a portal key on him like you do with bubbles
conclusion: shit hero
he has more disables, a decent heal, more aoe dmg and an escape/chase spell, quite different to pyro
imo midas has potential, but didnt play him in a real game yet
