You still go alch-bones first. Bear allows you to farm a whole other lane while you farm jungle/lane with Wildsoul. Additionally, you can harass the fuck out of the enemy ricer and not allow him to freefarm. You just need good micro which most people don't have.

Mock bear is very successful when 2 criteria are met

-Your team can fight 4v5 for the first 20-30 minutes
-The guy playing wild soul knows how to farm so he can get mock in 20-30 minutes

ok so you already have 500 gpm just with the alch bones, you basically just blew 4750 on an item to up your gpm another 100-200

it's not about the farm, it's about the presence the bear will give you in fight, who would wanna focus down a bear with 2700 hp which can in most cases just be resummoned right after it dies or you can go after wild soul with probably more hp and way more armor, not to mention you dont even need to put yourself in danger to make your presence feelt in teamfights

the point isn't just the farm. You get a 2700 HP fucking bear that does like 40 damage per second to any retard dumb enough to stay close by. Get by 20 minutes -> send to the enemy carries freefarm lane -> carry has to get the fuck out or take insane damage. If he tries to kill the bear he gets harassed to hell and misses quite a few waves of farm.

ok, now either wildsoul will be easily bursted down cause you made a fucking mock on him, or he will be underlevels because you are keeping him out of fights to do 40 magic damage a second to people

yes mock is very good the first 25 minutes of the game, but after that it is terrible.

Not really, with his ulti wild is insanely tanky without any items. Focusing you down takes fucking ages, and when running a WS you normally have at least another semi-carry on team to do damage if they try to focus you. Also, mock on bear is always useful because +60 damage vs towers is insane. He takes them down so fast you can push like crazy all game. Finally, with mock on bear and WS farming woods, you can get insane GPM and then build like assualt / abyssal on WS for huge tankiness.

you do know a rank 3 ultimate will give you over 1000 hp
