or like, second year computer science at my university (and at most other universities) is what MIT does in their first year
there's no consistency or standardization like there is with public schooling
I would have taken a bunch of programming classes, but I had my uncle look at them, they're the same exact classes he took in the 80s. Pretty sure computers have changed a bit since then <_<.
Instead I took a bunch of boot camp microsoft certification classes and got certified in like 3 months. I'll probably go back and get a degree in some random bullshit once a job requires I have one to move up in the chain or something. Til then fuck it.
Just got a job offer teaching the boot camps for SQL for 800 bucks a day, no degree. Don't get all the social stigma with EVERYONE NEEDS A DEGREE OR FAILUREEEE
