and i'm pretty sure there'll be 50k + concurrent users soon, since everyone is switching to this and its used for all competitive european tournaments

fact is S2 is complete garbage. 1 talented coder not motivated by greed and not controlled by a shitty company can do alot better than S2 can.

s2 is garbage, but you overrate dota and the guy running the dota league

s2 got ddos by a bunch of indian kids

entire garena client is trying to ddos this guy's client, but he doesn't QQ and make vague legal threats. he just implements packet filters to stop malicious traffic. why couldn't S2 do that instead of QQing to legal authorities and posting quotes like "serious jail time for ddos in xx country blah blah"?.

S2 coded an OK game in the initial phases (not anymore) i'll give them that, but in terms of the client its complete garbage compared to just a basic dota client programmed from some guy's basement, which is pretty sad considering S2 is a multi million dollar company now.

also all signs lead to dota2 being amazing
