tbh being a good student is sort of overrated
i mean sure, i've lost $12 000 in scholarship money cuz of plummeting my GPA
i've plummeted my GPA with courses where the average grade ranges from A- to A+ (religion, 1970s to modern day music history, classical music, classical music continued) (all with C grades)
and then one where i just shit the bed (C+ in engineering physics cuz gave up cuz shitty student)


but then for courses where you do more than just read 50 pages of content a night i've got A- or A (all math and comp sci course with exception of software development)


And Never Have I Spent Greater Than An Few Hours Studying For Anything.



but like you get to a workplace and see shit and realize being a good student doesn't do much for you in MOST CASES
i rather have fun aka eat alone at virgin café and pretend to have friends

than to eat at virgin café and study in the library

i remember in junior high this girl studied five hours or something ridiculous (ridiculous for junior high) for a MATH TEST
what did i do? i played WoW beta
in class i used to draw talent trees and daydream about my future troll hunter cuz pizzafaced nerd

what did i get on that test? 100% BAM SON
what did she get? something like 80% something and she put her head in her locker and cried BAM SON



haven't seen much of that in uni tho, most of the time when i don't study i eat shit and the people who study well get good marks

but i mean success in college/uni is a combination of hard work and the level of your basic fundamental skills
smartest kid in the world will still fail a religion test if he doesn't know any of the terms, but can 100% a math test by pure intelligence
someone mid-intelligence can study for religion test and study well for math test and 100% both
a low-intelligence kid can 100% religion test through pure memorization, but fail the math test by lack of comprehension

i fucking hate memorization tests
history usually the only class i don't get As in because i don't care enough to sit there and memorize what elizabeth I of england did

you get out of your post secondary education what you put into it.
there is not excuses for academic failure.

one of main reasons i am in comp sci, yet i take memorization-based electives (i call them google courses, high school math teacher called them library card courses cuz he said why pay $40 000 for an english degree when you can just get a free library card LAWL)

people like me, who don't give a shit, though they are far more intelligent and end up being the face of apple, microsoft, facebook, etc (though i don't think mark and bill were bad students, but all dropouts nonetheless)

people started passing fast and as usual when this happens i drop+destroy all items(marchers runed frostburn etc...)

oh yeah, i was one of 3 people to 100% my pre-calculus final

eZ shiet and all i did was play dota and then tutor some friends from that class for a few hours
tho i wouldn't call them friends cuz i never speak to them anymore
