In a new survey on the web where more than 100 000 people from 16 years and older underwent an IQ test showed that users of Microsoft Internet Explorer on average have a lower IQ than users of other browsers.
This particularly applies to users of the oldest version of Internet Explorer in the survey, IE 6 - which on average only reached just above 80 in IQ. Users of newer versions of Explorer (7-9) had slightly higher IQ, between 85 and 95.
Opera users, most smartest
Highest IQ over 120, were users of browsers Camino and Opera, while users of Chrome, Firefox and Safari followed close behind with about 105-115 in IQ.
-Individuals in the lower part of the IQ scale have a greater resistance to change and upgrade their browsers summarizes the Canadian research firm AptiQuant their findings. Now that we have a more statistical information about the ongoing use of incompatible browsers, you can take better steps to get rid of this irritation.
The survey results are presented in full at this link.

Idk that I buy there conclusion. Perhaps it's a case of smarter people better able to follow trends? Rather than stupid people being unable to cope with change? Idk.
