i know for a fact i'm smarter than certain kids who had nice GPAs and mine looks like trash cuz i got C in a music class that had an average of A (very sad), and a C+ in another cuz i derped (average of A-)

meanwhile those kids have to take first year calculus again cuz they got D or F while i skipped 80% of the classes and got an A

also kids are like "read 70 pages tonight about the evolution of pop music"
who the fuck is gonna do that? tryhards who get good marks but can't adapt and have weaker fundamental skills than kids like me

At the end of the day are current higher education system is not all that accurate...it's more of a marking and branding system rather than a system based on learning. Today the best and brightest kids try and get into the biggest named schools, but do throws schools actually make the best and brightest all that much more educated? or do they start smart?...the Ivy league schools only accept people they feel are a certian callaber of person, making them a sorting and branding establishment rather than a place that strives to impart the most amount of knowledge to someone...I think the real test of a school is how much they help there students to improve not just how good your school is at sorting out who's smarter than who.
