a belt should generally be a solid colour. you are far better adding variety to accessories with texture rather than colour of stitching. it's become kitch, like chrome trimming on vehicles.
e/ also, unless it's for a black suit (and even sometimes still), black belt's are very passé.
IMO belt should match shoes, and I wear black shoes way more than anything else.
I agree the white stitching would be better if it was just black, but I don't think it'll stand out too much when I wear it.
