False. If I really wanted to put a LOT of time and effort into the game, I could get up there.
But I am content in the ~1650 range playing 1-10 games a month.
Now if I played 10 games a day every day like I used to, I'm pretty sure I'd be better than 1650.

But I do see your point, when it comes to people offering to boost, it's a different story.

there really are players that play hon with non game sense whatsoever.... they are easily 100-150 mmr above what they should be soley based on their heroes that they play.... not to mention the other factors in HoN your teammates... are you going to get legit players on your team or are you going to get retards, are there going to be smurfs on the other team? or are you going to get carried to higher mmr than you should by smurfs on your team?....

imo, mmr is a poor indicator of skill..... winning and losing truly shows skill when its 5 lock vs 5 lock.... then strategies and execution is everything

mmr shows some skill, but if you are solo queing your pretty much pulling the lever on the teammate slot machine

even if you dont do any of this during a given game, there is a chance that you will get atleast 1 of these on both or either team

even if solo queue is annoying sometimes, even if you need more games to reach your real MMR solo queueing, in the end it works perfectly fine.
