Dota 2 is the way to go if you like slow paces, mannered players, team oriented people, etc
HoN is the way to go if you just want to sit back, not take a game that seriously and fuck around sometimes. Just play HoN if you want to.

I get what you mean about concede, though I'm still 60/40 in favor for it

concede should be 5/5 votes whole game
i really hate the 30 min marker in a game that my team feeds and wants to cc
i basically got no saying if im only one that wants to keep playing

I agree with what you say, but not about 5/5 vote.

In my opinion they should have 4/5 vote at 15 minutes.

It's a pain having to wait to 30 minute mark because a troll refuses to concede.

Also, if there are 3 people giving up at 15 minute mark and you feel that it's pointless to even try, 4/5 vote would make it all easier.

But I actually think that the Concede Vote has very much to do with the game and its players overall, in a negative way...

i disagree, people don't even wanna try which leads to losing
they don't know or can't be bothered to react proper to certain situations like pubtraining
i can tell u many games where i refused to cc and we waited for a good team fight and turned game around, best feeling really

if people give up 10 min into game and afk around base or fuck around and refuse to try i will not concede and make em waste more time

I don't know if I'd say dota 2 is more team oriented. People do not respect the support role (in either game). I do agree the players were more mannered (when i played 6 months ago).

I have done the same many times. But if you can't encourage the team and they stay afk at base I rather CC and find a new game.

But the last sentence of yours is the example on why I want 4/5 concede... It's so annoying having to wait to the 30 minute mark when it's a certain loss and someone in the team refuses to concede.

theres 2 reasons i dont cc, 1 we can win people will sometimes play seeing 1 wont pass vote
2 if they really dont wanna play might as well make em waste time, im spiteful

Yea, but that's kind of what I mean. If the people keep on playing even though it seems like it's lost there a chance that it might turn into a win.

I try to encourage the team to at least try, with reasonable excuses or just pointless ones to just make them try...

I am spiteful aswell, online and IRL, but I can't be arsed to "waste" my own time when it comes to concede, I rather find a new game and hopefully get a good game.
