i've only reset my account with my own money 2 times over the 3 years HoN has been out
back in the day i would use S2's shitty coding to my advantage. before 2.0 if you entered in your card details then SPAM clicked the "confirm" button, it would come up with the dialogue "sorry transaction could not be processed" and would not charge your card. however, your stats would be reset to 1500. eZ
from a programming point of view, i'm guessing that had some listener for the "confirm" button which, if clicked once by a normal person, would charge the card and reset the stats. they probably put in some "if" statement somewhere saying like "if clicked a billion times and multiple charges possible, just don't charge anything and say failed transcation". problem is dumb coders probably left the reset part outside the statement and didn't bother to test it so i got like $1kworth of resets for free using this glitch. twiSta, who i played with at the time, probably got like $10k worth from it

e: i'm actually gaining like +0.5 MMr per a game now. this mmr system is fucked up beyond belief, i'll be in 1400 bracket for like 100-200 games
