its 1920 X 1080 resolution, and has super glossy finish so all colors are super pronounced. can't wait for dota2 to finish dling

Used to play on 1920x1080, but I doubled my FPS (30 to 60) by changing to.... 1440x900 i think.

you should buy an ssd and use the 500gig hdd as a backup/media storage drive, obviously the ssd prices are retarded if you buy through your sager reseller, which i why i bought my ssd from amazon and installed it myself

the LCD this laptop comes with dogcrap, the viewing angles are shit

i mean, he might have to turn off AA and lower shadows for the absolute newest games for 60 fps

i already have a backup drive which is 2 TB or whatever, so should be np. got it for like $95 on some special offer. 500 GB ismore than enough for all my school / music / videos atm as well

when i upgraded my monitor on sager website i made sure it was the extra glossy anti-glare thing so don't have to deal with shitty display. loving it so far. just having a hard time adjusting to such high resolution, everything looks small

that's only true because developers are only designing games with the console in mind, the current gen consoles came out in 2006 and today's games barely look better than crysis which came out in 2007, fuck even crysis 1 looks way better than crysis 2 (crysis 2 was designed for consoles)

laptops cards are severely gimped with their 200w envelope, current desktop cards are what, 400-500 watts?

when the next generation of consoles come out you won't be able to have much eye candy with your laptop gpus

yeah it feels kind of weird. my last laptop was a dell with piece of shit overpriced specs as is customary for dell. at school labs we use dell screens as well which are probably like 4-5 years old at least. so they're all kind of greyed out and not lit very well

now i have something that's really bright and emphasizes all the colors. its totally awesome though, can;t wait to try dota2 on it

ya that's for sure, was talking about high/maximum settings
like I got geforce gtx 560 ti oc which should be like 10-15% better than yours and for Crysis (1 not 2) I can't set everything to maximum (especially anti aliasing is making troubles and drops fps from like 45 to 20)
but hon/dota2 and most non-shooters will run ez

about small shit on 1920x1080 monitor: you can use zoom on windows 7 > right click on desktop, last point (adjust or something) -> then on the bottom left display or so
set mine to 125% and that's fine for me

for firefox I also have an add-on called zoom page
