yep, have you heard about sc2 prize money how pissed even the rands are getting about not receiving money, how they are slandering the reps of the hosting companies and admins

the ponzi scheme style of some tournaments like ESWC were covered, and they really praised MLG for practically shoving prize money into winners' pockets the day of the tournament or whatever

but that's what i mean, like nobody else can get away with that or the entire 'professional' community will shit all over them, and the bad rep will cause change

just like trying to be a good cop in a police force of 95% corrupt cops, you're gonna get stomped trying to talk logic and rationale with them from your good cop point of view


like pirat's friend who hasn't even received honwars money yet, and S2 helped to promote it, then this recent shit, then the instability of the game with what seems like every patch S2 releases, on top of everything else that's just garbage about the community

tbh, the only thing i actually can really appreciate in the community are the teams (but this is a given in any game that has even a small competitive scene) and DRD

i was thinking more like, HoN was born with great potential and promise, but then ruined by its creator and the scene that was created sort of as a byproduct of its creator's actions was also garbage


but hopefully HoN ends up like paris hilton, lost and forgotten in a sea of bad games
i think it's too late to salvage anything which is a shame cuz HoN was one of the most fun games i've played
