This is what I'm looking for!

Moar tipz? :) <3

tbh the majority of improvement comes from a combination of general technical skill and a little bit of theory
if you can have complete control of your hero (doing what you want it to do as if you didn't have hands and could control it with your mind) with keyboard and mouse, all you need is theory

so if you can get creep kills and be in position where you want to be, all you need to do is learn where you want to be and when, be able to justify why you are doing what

for example:
as a magebean mid against, let's say soulstealer:

i decide to grab a shield, 3 minor totems, tango and hp pot (this is theory - someone might get hatchet, the choice of items here is a combination of your confidence, preferred style, and theory)

in lane, i stand back and carefully watch the rate at which creeps are losing HP
i can use this to weigh the distance i'll need to travel and the time i'll have, in combination with the possibility of soulstealer getting the last hit

played perfectly, i should be able to run in and reach my desired creep at the exact instant i am able to last hit it precisely within the damage range of my magebean

this will give soulstealer the least amount of time possible to harass me

depending on how good the enemy soulstealer is, and knowing that when he uses his shortest-range demon hand you can blink on top of him and drain the rest of his mana (this will destroy his farm or allow you a chance to kill him because you have higher natural movespeed), you can either stomp him or come out with minimal farm

ideally, soulstealer will have a bottle and you should have wards up to see your runes
if soulstealer prefires a spawn location, stay in lane and get the wave (each creep is super valuable, especially so early on), and if he misses you can choose whether to grab it or let him go all the way to the other side and grab it while you enjoy more free farm

again, this is dependent on way too many factors for someone to tell you what to do

after all the early game bullshit, and depending on the situation, i'd either have runed axe, runed axe with steamboots, or a helm of the black legion and a firebrand

regardless of what i have, i'd grab a TP and start farming my face off
every time i saw a hero that could be capable of killing me, or something like a witch slayer that i know could have buddies to show up after he begins to CC me, i'd blink into the side of the lane and tp out instantly to another lane to repeat the same thing, or to fountain to pick up a core item

if the enemy team is pushing mid and you're solo pushing a lane with your 4 team mates bitching you to come, let them walk into the base and tp the instant a team mate and an enemy make contact (again, slight exceptions, like i'd stick around to take a tower if it had 200 hp)

you have to be calculated and greedy, so having a sense of where enemies' cooldowns are at will allow you to take out a hero or two, let a team mate eat a stun or something, jump in, take out more, use ult to KS, etc, etc

team fights are super important though, considering you're probably the highest dps on the team you have to constantly re-calculate the situation and choose exactly what it is you want to do with full confidence

this is the difference between a greedy player who's a pussy and lets kills slip away unnecessarily and someone who takes risks with full confidence and reaps full rewards, making the best of every situation

eventually you'll be farmed to fuck and it won't matter what happens

Watch pro players streams or replays. I'd probably recommend swindlemelonz as he is constantly giving his thought process through out the game and he responds to chat questions. Most other streamers ignore the chat and don't talk that much.
