true but being able to multitask properly in hon have it's advantages
stacking woods with illus while you're sitting on lane lasthitting
using ophelia/puzzle/tundra minions to it's fullest
and ofc being able to spend as little time as possible with courier
it's small things but if you just repeat and do them right over and over again it will add up during a game
While I agree micro is necessary, I'm saying APM is just a dumb statistic that shouldn't carry any merit whatsoever. This isn't a game where increasing the amount of actions you do will increase how well you play.
Stacking woods with illusion is more awareness of when to stack and positioning properly than APM. It only takes, what, [22 click shift click 11] 7 actions to stack a creep every 1 minute.
Chen, which is what I'd consider a micro intensive unit, is less about APM and more about actually positioning properly and casting efficiently.
Buying on the courier is essentially more like buying guns in counterstrike than anything else, it's just learned by practice. Microing the chicken is taken out of the equation with the E and R buttons.
