no because to learn champions u gotta play a bunch of games so you can just play free ones until youve played or seen one you are interested in then use ip to buy and no there is no practice mode for champs you do not own but every week there is 10 free champs that rotate

high skilled players are recognized just like every other game and LoL tournys steam with anywhere 5k-30k viewers so i dont think its a joke but riot doesnt handle it very well theres still no observer mode and pre game picks bans and getting started take for fucking ever cause some kid is eating a sandwich or something but besides that its just like any other e sport.
once ur lvl 30 u can start judging tribunal cases. you can judge 10 cases a day you have to wait 60 seconds before you can judge the player, all cases look the same its real boring i dont even do it
