No. Just no. I said the same when I played League of Legends, and they had their server issues, but that's free. I won't complain about that. With this, I'm angered beyond measure, because we paid not only for the game, but its continuous services being provided to us. I do think some compensation is in order.
Not to mention they make money otherwise too, not just from you buying the game, even if that money is optionally spent by the player. This shouldn't happen.
the nice thing about dota, besides the better heroes, more developed competitive scene, non-corrupt employees, and less self-righteous mediator-type bad players is the fact that if one league or channel you play at is down, there are hundreds of others to join. you can basically play whenever you want.
